Ingénieur généraliste diplômé de l’IPHC, Christophe jouit de nombreuses années d’expérience acquises dans le monde de l’automobile. Ses responsabilités au sein d’un grand équipementier français de l’industrie automobile lui ont permis de développer une vision pragmatique dans l’accompagnement, la valorisation et la défense des innovations.

Fort de cette expérience, Christophe a entrepris de cofonder le cabinet EX MATERIA avec la volonté de proposer une approche innovante au regard des méthodes traditionnelles, avec pour pilier la valorisation des idées développées au sein d'équipes R&D de PME ou de grands groupes internationaux.

Habilité à exercer devant l’INPI et l’OEB, Christophe a également développé une expertise significative en procédures orales. Il a acquis un savoir-faire en gestion de contentieux nationaux et internationaux, notamment en ce qui concerne l'évaluation des risques, le conseil aux décideurs, les méthodes de négociation et l'environnement contractuel en rapport avec ces contentieux.

RODOLPHE GUYON

Ingénieur mécanicien diplômé de l’ISTIL - Polytech Lyon, Rodolphe a développé une expertise dans le domaine de la propriété industrielle depuis 2001, notamment au sein d’un constructeur automobile ainsi que dans des cabinets de conseil.


Rodolphe a entrepris de cofonder le cabinet EX MATERIA avec l’envie d’apporter une dynamique nouvelle dans la valorisation des idées. Son approche se fonde sur une analyse détaillée au contact des inventeurs, afin de bâtir une protection robuste de leurs innovations, et sur une analyse globale pour accompagner les décideurs dans leur stratégie PI. 


Habilité à exercer devant l’INPI et l’OEB, Rodolphe a acquis une forte expérience dans les procédures auprès des offices de brevets français, européen et internationaux. Impliqué dans la formation des collaborateurs au sein du cabinet, il a pour objectif de développer leurs compétences professionnelles en les sensibilisant particulièrement aux problèmes pratiques pouvant être rencontrés dans l'obtention et l’exploitation des brevets.

CHANTAL URBILLAC

Ingénieur Brevets

Diplômée de l’école d’ingénieurs Supélec en spécialité télécommunications, Chantal a entamé sa carrière

dans la propriété industrielle à Orange Labs après quelques années de R&D.


Forte de 17 années d’expérience en industrie, à Orange Labs, Renault puis le CEA, Chantal a intégré le cabinet EX-MATERIA depuis mai 2022 et est en charge de la rédaction de demande de brevets,
de réponses à lettres officielles, d’études de validité ou de liberté
d’exploitation.

Titulaire d’un brevet de technicien supérieur en génie optique photonique, d’une licence bioingénierie, d’un master double compétence droit de la propriété intellectuelle et biotechnologies et du diplôme universitaire « brevet d’invention » du CEIPI, Léo a rejoint le cabinet EX MATERIA en novembre 2018.

 

Il est en charge de rédactions de demandes de brevet, d’études de validité, de recherches d’antériorités et de réponses aux lettres officielles.

Après une double licence Droit et Langues, Aurore a validé un master Biotechnologies & Droit à l’Université de Tours. Aurore a ensuite poursuivi ses études à Strasbourg par les diplômes universitaires Brevets et Marques, Dessins et Modèles proposés par le CEIPI.

À la suite d'une expérience dans un cabinet en propriété industrielle généraliste, Aurore a rejoint le cabinet EX MATERIA en 2021 et est aujourd’hui chargée de rédactions de demandes de brevet, d’études de validité, de recherches d’antériorités et de réponses aux lettres officielles.

ANDJEL ANTOINE

Ingénieur Brevets

Andjel est titulaire d'un master en chimie organique, d'une licence en biotechnologie pour la santé, ainsi que du diplôme universitaire « brevet d’invention » du CEIPI, Andjel a intégré le cabinet EXMATERIA en octobre 2023.

 

Au sein du cabinet, Andjel intervient principalement dans la rédaction de demandes de brevets, la réalisation d’études de brevetabilité et de validité, la recherche d’antériorités, ainsi que dans le suivi des procédures de délivrance de brevets tant en France qu'à l'international.

Fort d’une première expérience dans un cabinet de conseil en propriété industrielle, Teddy a rejoint Ex Materia en 2021. Il intervient principalement dans les rédactions de demandes de brevet, les recherches d’antériorités et les procédures de délivrance en France et à l’étranger.

QUENTIN LEVEILLE

A la suite d'une préparation intégrée au sein de l'école d'ingénieurs EPF Montpellier, Quentin a poursuivi sa formation en rejoignant l'école d'ingénieurs EIGSI La Rochelle. Quentin a rejoint Ex Materia en 2021.

Quentin est chargé du développement de l'outil PatentInDraw et il assure aussi la gestion administrative du portefeuille de brevets en gestion chez Ex Materia

An engineer graduate from the IPHC engineering school, Christophe has many years of experience in the automotive industry. His responsibilities within a large French automotive supplier have enabled him to develop a pragmatic vision in the support, valorization and defense of innovations.

​

With this experience, Christophe undertook to co-found the EX MATERIA patent law firm with the aim of proposing an innovative approach to traditional methods, one of his core values being the valorization of ideas developed within R&D teams of SMEs or international organizations.

​

Christophe is qualified to practice before the French national patent office and the EPO. He also developed a significant expertise in oral proceedings. He has acquired expertise in national and international litigation, including risk assessment, advising decision-makers, trading methods and the environment surrounding such litigation.

RODOLPHE GUYON

A mechanical engineer graduate from ISTIL - Polytech Lyon, Rodolphe has developed an expertise in the field of industrial property since 2001, particularly for a car manufacturer as well as for patent law firms.

​

Rodolphe undertook to co-found the EX MATERIA patent law firm with the desire to bring a new dynamic in the valorization of ideas. His approach is based both on a detailed analysis with the inventors, in order to build a strong protection of their innovations, and on a global analysis to accompany decision makers in their IP strategies.

​

Rodolphe is qualified to practice before the French national patent office and the EPO, he also has extensive experience in proceedings working with international patent offices. Involved in the training of employees within the firm, he aims to develop their professional skills by making them particularly aware of the practical problems which can be encountered in obtaining and exploiting patents.

CHANTAL URBILLAC

Graduated from Supelec high engineering school, with telecommunications as a speciality, Chantal started her carrier in the industrial property field at Orange labs, after spending a few years in R&D.


With 17 years of experience in the industry, at Orange Labs, Renault and CEA, Chantal joined EX-MATERIA in may 2022, and is in charge of drafting patent applications, replies to official letters, validity and
freedom to operate studies.

ANDJEL ANTOINE

Patent Engineer

Holding a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry, a Bachelor's degree in Health Biotechnology, as well as the 'Invention Patent' university diploma from CEIPI, Andjel joined the firm EXMATERIA in October 2023.

 

Within the firm, Andjel primarily focuses on drafting patent applications, conducting patentability and validity studies, performing prior art searches, as well as overseeing the patent granting procedures both in France and internationally

QUENTIN LEVEILLE

Patent Engineer

Following an integrated preparation within the EPF Montpellier engineering school, Quentin continued his training by joining the EIGSI La Rochelle engineering school. Quentin joined Ex Materia in 2021.

Quentin is in charge of developing the PatentInDraw tool, and is also responsible for the administrative management of Ex Materia's patent portfolio.
